The Board of Directors has tentatively scheduled for October 2 a general member meeting to vote on revisions to some existing policies.  A meeting is required because new policies, or revisions to existing policies, cannot come into effect unless they are ratified by a simple majority (50% + one) of members at a duly convened members’ meeting.
